A painting of the historic King Charles ll stable in Newmarket. The head lad is wiping down the trainer's hack after the morning exercises. This was the oldest operating stable in the country. Unfortunately it is now closed.
I call myself a Jobbing Artist. I paint urban and rural landscapes for my own interest and as commissions. I also paint portraits and equestrian images on commission. I work primarily in oil on linen canvas but I also make pieces on paper. All my materials are museum archive quality. I also make limited edition prints, most of which are mezzotints.
