I want to be social anatomist
The colours, words and lines are my tools for this dialogue. These lines, figures and calligraphies are expressing a common feeling of what is now an introspective generation of Iranians.
I use Persian Calligraphy as a way of tracing my mind’s contours and divulging that personal expression through my art.
I also use Vivid Colours. This has been practice since I first began painting and this exhibition is no exception. By vibrant colours I tend to show my country’s picture, which is still very much alive and hopeful. I use these colours to imagine the freedom, which does not yet exist in Iran.
There are inspiring, charming and tragic Stories behind my paintings, but the most important thing is that the viewer can communicate with a distant language. Ultimately, I want the viewer to be exposed, challenged and enriched as the art lets them discover a new perspective.
