About the Artist

At the age of 12,my father took me to the Brighton Museum where, for the first time,I saw surrealist artworks, from the Edward James collection.
I was amazed and enthralled at the sight of Dalí's,Swans reflecting Elephants and Magritte's,Red Model...I new then that I had to express my thoughts, feelings and imagination, through art.
As if destined...the art teacher,Mr Gordon Faulkner,at my new school, was a Dalí lookalike,...moustache as well.We hit it off immediatley and the following school years were full of creating, studying the world of Art.
I have studied at Rochdale College of Art,OU,Arts Foundation,17th,19th Century England,''Summer Schools'' at Stirling University and have had working studios in L'Estartit,Catalonia,Albaizin,Granada being now resident in Aguadulce,Almeria since 1993.
In 1996 I was diagnosed as having Multiple Sclerosis and at this moment I am confined to a wheelchair and painting with left hand, due to progression of the illness. My technique, productivity, has changed due to physical limitations but my needs, desires and creative inspiration...will never diminish....

I consider my artwork style as ''free flow'',...in creating, depicting my own personal dreams, thoughts and inspirations...
I am inspired by life's experiences, the ''human condition'',space and time...

I have exhibited throughout the UK and Spain. Many works are in private collections in Europe,Mexico and Australia...
